Vasodilator - an agent, such as a nerve or hormone, that widens the blood vessels, which in turn decreases resistance to blood flow and lowers blood pressure.
Vein - a blood vessel that carries unoxygenated blood to the lungs from the body's other organs.
Vecuronium - generic name of the drug Norcuron; medication used to produce muscle relaxation during surgery and assisted breathing (mechanical ventilation).
Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) - a condition in which urine flows from the bladder, back up the ureter, and back into the kidneys.
