Medical terminology is quite different from everyday language. It is helpful to know the meaning of the terms that medical professionals use when your child (or friend) is ill. All of the following terms have been found during extensive research of CDH or in my son's personal medical records.

Definitions are taken from CHERUBS, Medicine Net, The Free Dictionary, or Wikipedia; they have been reworded to be more easily understandable where possible.
